Care Packages - Schedule of Care
Care starting from 20 weeks or below; £10,000
Care starting between 20-28 weeks; £9,000
Care starting between 28-36 weeks; £8,500
Care starting from 36 weeks onwards; £7,000 (+£300 per consultation)
Caesarean section (or C-section) only; £6,000 (+£300 per consultation)
Care Packages include

Complimentary introductory video call prior to booking

Regular appointments with Dr Lam as per the Schedule of Care

Dr Lam to deliver your baby and provide care during labour

Postnatal follow up consultation

24 hour availability in case of emergency

Blood tests and other medical tests

Ultrasound scans (see Scanning Fees for those offered at The Portland)

The Portland Hospital delivery fees (see Consultant-led maternity packages which as a guide start from £7,995 for normal delivery and £9,300 for elective C-section as of Jan '25)

Anaesthetist and paediatrician fees
For private obstetric care the anaesthetist, paediatrician and hospital fees are always charged and invoiced separately from the Consultant's fees. Please contact The Portland directly with any questions about their charges.

Any scans or investigations advised by Dr Lam will be charged separately by The Portland
Medical insurance
Health insurance cover typically does not include routine antenatal care and delivery. It is therefore advised to check with your insurer prior to booking which, if any, fees can be reimbursed. Where services are covered by insurance, please note that Dr Lam is a registered provider with major insurers such as Bupa, Aviva, Axa and WPA.
